On August 1, ISRO will carry out the Trans Lunar Injection (TLI) after the last or bit-raising maneuver.

The fifth and final orbit-raising maneuver (Earth-bound perigee firing) of the Chandrayaan-3 project was successfully carried out by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Tuesday, July 25. The ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru successfully carried it out.

The spacecraft should reach an orbit of 1,27,609 km by 236 km. This indicates that Chandrayaan-3 is now in an orbit, which is between 236 km and 1,27,609 km from Earth at its closest and farthest points.

Following the successful orbit-raising maneuver, ISRO stated that "the achieved orbit will be confirmed after the observations."

ISTRAC conducted the four earlier orbit boosting maneuvers between July 15 and July 20.

On August 1, ISRO will carry out the TransLunar Injection (TLI), which will launch Chandrayaan-3 toward the Moon after the last orbit-raising maneuver.

The TransLunar Injection (TLI), the following fire, is scheduled for August 1, 2023, between midnight and one in the morning (IST), according to ISRO.

The LVM3-M4 rocket that launched Chandrayaan-3 on July 14 included a lander module (LM), a propulsion module (PM), and a rover.

The PM and LM split will occur on August 17 following the TLI. Before the power descent phase of the soft landing on the Moon, a series of deboost maneuvers are also planned. On August 23 at 5:47 p.m., the lander is anticipated to make contact with the lunar surface.
