The Earth-bound apogee firing, the second orbit-raising manoeuvre, was successfully carried out, according to ISRO. Currently, the spacecraft is orbiting at 41603 km by 226 km. The following fire will take place between 2 and 3 p.m. IST on July 18th.

The Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft was manoeuvred by the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru into the 41,603 km x 226 km orbit. As a result, Chandrayaa-3 is currently on an orbit that puts it between 226 and 41,603 km from Earth at its closest and farthest points, respectively.
